According to East Japan Railway Company (JR East), the Tohoku Shinkansen, a high-speed train line in Japan, had suspended operations between Omiya Station and Sendai Station. Service resumed around 7:15 AM today.
The Tohoku Shinkansen connects Tokyo with the northern region of Japan, known as Tohoku, which includes several prefectures such as Miyagi, where Sendai is located.
