This level of rainfall is considered extreme and poses a significant risk of disasters such as flooding and landslides.
In response to the potential dangers, the agency has issued a “Record Short-Time Heavy Rain Information” alert, urging residents to take precautions to ensure their safety. Ibaraki Prefecture, situated in the Kanto region of Japan, is known for its agricultural activities and is home to several cities, including Yūki.
