Ministop Mislabels Expiration Dates on In-House Prepared Rice Balls

Ministop, a popular convenience store chain in Japan, has announced that it mistakenly labeled the expiration dates on rice balls (known as onigiri) prepared in its stores. This issue was identified in 23 locations across the country.

Onigiri are a traditional Japanese food made of rice, often shaped into triangles or balls and wrapped in seaweed. They are a common snack or meal option available at convenience stores throughout Japan.

The company is taking steps to rectify this labeling error to ensure that customers are provided with accurate information regarding the freshness and safety of their food products.
