Koryo High School, located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, has announced the resignation of its long-serving baseball coach, Tetsuyuki Nakai. This decision comes in the wake of a scandal where multiple team members were reported to have committed acts of violence against younger students.
The school, which had to withdraw from the summer national high school baseball tournament due to this incident, is taking steps to address the situation. To ensure a thorough review and improvement of its school operations, Koryo High School will establish a ‘School Improvement Review Committee.’ This committee will consist of external experts who will provide an outside perspective on the school’s management and practices.
