In the heart of Kochi City, located in Kochi Prefecture on Shikoku Island, a small statue of Anpanman—a beloved character from a popular Japanese children’s anime—was returned to its owner on the 21st of this month. The statue had gone missing from a flower bed in a local shopping arcade on the 18th.
A man discovered the statue in a nearby park and decided to return it to its rightful owner, a local woman. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude, stating, “I want to thank Anpanman for connecting us in this way.” This incident highlights the sense of community and the affection many have for Anpanman, who symbolizes kindness and helping others.
